Race Site: Bogue Chitto State Park 17049 State Park Blvd, Franklinton, LA 70438 (Meeting Room). (Follow Park Signs). $3/person Park Entrance Fee – No one will be at the gate, so we will collect the money – The exact $ amount would be helpful.
Deadline for Mileage Switching: Wednesday, November 4rd at Midnight. NO Mileage switching on Race Day.

11:45pm – Course Instructions
11:59pm – Race Starts Friday
4. Please bring a bright headlamp/flashlight, extra batteries, & prescription glasses/contacts
if you wear them.
5. Course is 1 loop of 5 Miles with a Water/Food Station at the Finish Line.
6. Food for Race Participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission.
7. Please bring your own hydration container, as we try to practice a minimal use paper policy.
8. If you get lost, cut the course, or do the wrong course: NO place award.

Information about the event:
Aid Stations: 1 Total, The aid station will have water, gatorade.
10 Mile and 5 mile course information: The 10 mile and 5 mile
Requirements: Camelback, water bottle, or hydration belt, Headlamp and a whistle, no headphones!
NO PAPER CUPS AT THE RACE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE, PLENTY OF FLUIDS. We are doing our best to cut any paper or plastic in our races. Thank you for understanding. We are going GREEN!
Rules and regulations:
Requirements: A whistle, a camelback/hydration belt/water bottle.
– NO DOGS, NO PACERS, NO BABY STROLLERS, NO BICYCLES, NO EARPHONES, etc. ALLOWED on the COURSE!
– This event is “Bring Your Own Bottle”. In our efforts to keep our races and the park green, we will not have cups at the water stations. This reduces the amount of trash and therefore, our impact on the park. Water will be provided for filling up your bottles, camelbacks, and other containers at the water stations on the course. Drink water to stay hydrated.
You will run in areas where nature will offer all its beauty, please DO NOT leave any trace behind you. Every runner must carry out their trash (granola bar wraps, gel packs, paper, etc) and

For safety reasons, companions, friends or family will only be able to assist runners at the start/finish line.

Q50 will be coming and going all around the course during the event. They will be properly identified. In case of emergency, runners should inform one of these Q50 people.
Q50 reserve the right to take out of the race any runner that is considered not to be physically capable of finishing the race (medical opinion will be requested for this to happen).
A Q50 representative should be informed immediately by any runner dropped
